Report
unlawful content
A server hosted with us is distributing manifestly unlawful content? Here is how to report it to us and what we do with it.
What counts as a report
- Child sexual abuse material, incitement to hatred, glorification of terrorism
- Characterized harassment or threats against people
- Manifest infringement of copyright or trademarks
- Use of the server to attack a third party or distribute malware
- Fraud organized from the server
A disagreement between players, a ban you find unfair or a community dispute are not the host's concern: those matters are settled with the administrator of the server in question.
How to report
Write to support@starmine.net with the subject “Signalement” and the following elements:
- The exact address of the server concerned
- The precise nature of the content, with a factual description
- The date and time of the observation
- Screenshots or any supporting element
- Your contact details, so we can answer you
An anonymous report is admissible, but we will not be able to inform you of the follow-up.
What we do next
We review the report, contact the server's administrator when relevant, and promptly remove any manifestly unlawful content. Depending on the severity, suspension can be immediate and without notice.
The most serious offenses are reported to the competent authorities.
Abusive reports
A manifestly unfounded report, repeated or intended to harm a competitor, may engage its author's liability.
