A world opened from the game closes as soon as you leave the session, and your friends wait for you to be there to move forward. A dedicated server separates the world from the player: your community builds, mines and trades whenever it wants, at night or over the weekend, and finds every building in its place on return.
Hosting Minecraft on your own machine means splitting your processor between the game and the server, exposing your personal address to all your guests, and watching the world stop as soon as you switch off. At Starmine, it runs on Ryzen 9 at 5.4 GHz with DDR5 ECC and NVMe Gen4, in a Paris datacenter permanently protected against DDoS attacks.
The panel installs versions and modpacks in one click, Vanilla, Paper, Spigot, Forge, NeoForge, Fabric and Quilt, without losing your world. Over 17,000 plugins can be added from the same screen, with no FTP. Live console, file manager, maps, backups, scheduled tasks and delegated access complete the set.
On Vanilla or Paper, 2 to 4 GB are enough for a handful of friends. A heavy modpack or a community of fifty players needs 8 GB and up. The processor counts as much as the memory: Minecraft runs largely on a single core, hence our high-frequency machines.
Yes. The panel installs the version or modpack of your choice and keeps your world. Still take a backup before a major change: a world opened in a newer version does not always reopen in the old one.
Yes, through the Geyser bridge, which translates the Bedrock protocol to Java. Your friends on Xbox, PlayStation, Switch, mobile or Windows join the same world as players on computer, with the same address.
Plugins go through the built-in manager: you search, you install, you restart. A modpack's mods come with it. For a specific file, the panel's web file manager lets you upload it without an FTP client.
A free subdomain comes with every server, something like myserver.starmine.net, simpler to dictate than a string of digits. Your personal address never appears, and you can connect your own domain name.
Monitoring restarts it automatically and the log stays available from the panel console to understand what happened. If the cause escapes you, support answers by ticket in French, seven days a week.
Yes, a free four-hour trial opens a real server on our machines, with the full panel. You install your version, your plugins and your players on it to judge for yourself, with no bank card.
