Player counts are estimates: the real limit depends on your plugins or mods, the render distance and the size of the map.
RAM decides the player count and how heavy your mods can be. Unsure? Take the smaller one, upgrading is instant and pro rata.

MCDoctor.ai · built into the panel
MCDoctor.ai is built into Starmine: submit your server's log or crash report, it identifies the cause and displays the fixes, right there.
Our Minecraft crash diagnosis tool, used every day by thousands of admins, and built by our own team.
A public Minecraft server always ends up attracting an attack. Filtering happens upstream of the network, at datacentre level: hostile traffic is absorbed before it reaches your machine.
Automatic daily backups, plus a manual trigger before any risky operation. Restoring is selective: the world alone, the plugins alone, or everything.
Minecraft runs most of its logic on a single core: it is the clock speed that decides, not the core count. Our blades run AMD Ryzen 9 7900 at 5.4 GHz, where manyMinecraft hosts settle for previous-generation EPYC chips, slower per core.
The concrete result: a stable 20 TPS, instant chunk loading, and heavy modpacks that stay playable.

Our machines live in a Paris datacentre operated by one of the main French telecom carriers, on 10 Gb/s fibre. For players in France and Europe, that means latency you simply do not feel.
Latencies measured from the main internet providers.
Five to ten players, a vanilla or Paper world, a whitelist and peace of mind. The STAR plan is plenty.

Grab your world folder and your plugins from your current host, drop them in over Web FTP, restart. That is all. No rebuild, no lost progress, no transfer fee.
Stuck on a step? Open a ticket, we look at your files with you.
No chatbot, no redirect to a knowledge base.
Right next to your servers: the conversation stays attached to them, and you get an e-mail at every reply.
With technical access, support reads your logs and files directly, no back-and-forth of screenshots.
From the people who run the machines, not a first line reading a script. And they tell you what is actually wrong.
Moved from a 2 € host after a month of constant lag. Same modpack, same player count, not a single TPS alert since.

Clear interface and support that answers in French, in under an hour. Nothing to complain about.
Anonymous, rating 5/5
300 mods, 60 players on Saturday night, not a single drop. The Ryzen does the work.
Nolwenn_B, rating 5/5
Server up in two minutes flat to play with four friends. Exactly what I needed.
Anonymous, rating 5/5
Great hosting, very powerful, and support that does not recite a script.
ThibaultR, rating 5/5
I strongly recommend it. Top quality and an honest price for DDR5 ECC.
kaelis_mc, rating 5/5
Very good performance and really easy to pick up. The plan system is crystal clear.
Orvyn, rating 5/5
Excellent host. I only take one point off on quality, a server clone button is missing.
Anonymous, rating 4,75/5
A plugin corrupted the map on a Sunday evening. Restored the world alone in two clicks, ten minutes lost. This is exactly what I pay for.
MaelisCraft, rating 5/5
I use it for a server with friends, up 24 hours a day at a fair price.
Anonymous, rating 5/5
The best Minecraft host I have tried, even if the top plan stays a bit pricey.
ptit_grum, rating 4,75/5
Always the one I pick when I set up a modded survival. Never had a bad surprise.
Anonymous, rating 4,25/5
I still struggle a bit with the renewal screen, you have to go back and you fear losing what you typed.
Sylvestre44, rating 4/5
The automatic crash analysis is stunning. It pointed at the faulty mod before I even opened the logs.
Anonymous, rating 4,25/5
I have been building my servers here for five years. Still just as effective, and the price has not drifted.

Anonymous, rating 4,5/5
Genuinely the best host I have had. My old world was migrated by the support team.
RavenKode, rating 5/5
The servers are rock solid. A bit pricey, but given the cost of electricity in France, fair enough.
Anonymous, rating 4,75/5
We were five on a heavy modpack and it maxed out. Support pointed me to the plan above, sorted since.

Top-notch hosting, not one outage in six months.

I never had to test the support, everything just works. Five stars everywhere to be safe.

Very good hosting overall. My only regret is the lack of an e-mail alert on RAM usage.
Jorane, rating 4,5/5
Perfect for vanilla as well as light modding. Version switch in one menu.

Prices are a bit high but the servers hold the load and the panel is simple.

Very good host even on the cheapest plan. Nothing like what I had before.
Anonymous, rating 4,75/5
Spot on. Crash detection suggests fixes, it has saved me entire evenings.

The servers are stable on average, less so on a very heavy modpack. The panel, though, is exemplary.

Stable servers, simple interface, responsive support. Setup is immediate and performance follows. I recommend it to anyone looking for reliable hosting.
PixelHavre, rating 5/5
Very good for a server with friends. I give 4 across the board, a proper backup overview is missing.
RemiVoxel, rating 4/5
The panel features are numerous and well thought out. The console and the file manager above all.
Anonymous, rating 4,75/5
A very good experience from start to finish, ordering included.

I only use Starmine for my servers. Never disappointed, and customer support really shows up.

If your question is not here, support answers by ticket, in French.
A good Minecraft host is judged on four measurable criteria: processor frequency, latency from the main French ISPs, how effective the anti-DDoS protection is, and how often automatic backups run.
Add a panel in your language and support that actually answers: that is what makes the difference the day a plugin breaks your world. Prefer a Minecraft server rental hosted in a French datacenter, with NVMe and clearly stated resources, not vague claims like “unlimited”.
Our plans start at 1.25 € per month incl. VAT with a commitment of 24 months, 2.49 € with no commitment. The price follows the size of the machine: the allocated RAM, the number of dedicated cores and the NVMe space. The high-frequency processor, anti-DDoS, automatic backups and the panel are included in every plan, with no paid option.
Payment is prepaid, with no automatic renewal, and a plan change is billed pro rata. That is the whole point of Minecraft server rental: start small, then move up only when your community grows.
Yes. A limited number of trial servers is made available every day; as soon as a slot frees up, it goes to the first to claim it. You test the same hardware and the same panel as the paid plans, so you judge for yourself.
One trial per account, and the data is not kept once the period ends: download your world over FTP if you plan to carry it over to a plan.
For a Vanilla server with 5-10 players, 2 to 3 GB are enough. With Paper and a few plugins, plan on 3 to 4 GB. For a heavy modpack (FTB, SkyFactory, RLCraft, Create) or more than 50 plugins, count 6 GB and up.
Consumption also depends on the render distance, the number of generated worlds and the size of the map. RAM can be increased from the panel at any time, with no data loss and billed pro rata.
We do not limit the number of slots: RAM and CPU frequency set the real limit. In practice, count about 12 players per 2 GB in vanilla, half that with a heavy modpack.
If you get close to the limit, the plan change is immediate and does not interrupt your world.
First switch your server to a compatible version (Paper, Spigot or Bukkit) from the Reinstall page. After a restart, install your plugins from the built-in manager, which gives access to more than 17,000 entries in one click.
You can also drop the files yourself into the plugins folder via the Web FTP. Always check version compatibility, then restart.
Yes, and it is free. Download your world folder and your plugins from your current host, upload them to us over the Web FTP, install the same version, restart.
No transfer fee, no rebuild. Our support can go through your files with you if a mod refuses to start.
At expiry, the server stops but your data is kept for several days. You receive an alert e-mail before the deadline, and a countdown appears in the panel.
Once that grace period runs out, the data is permanently deleted. Download your worlds over FTP if you are not sure you will continue.
Pick a plan, name your world, play. No commitment, adjustable at any time from the panel.
